We have a range of roles within our business, and have previously partnered with Brighton University to offer paid student placements to those studying in the science and environment faculty. We also use a range of external suppliers and freelancers who work closely with us to support the running of our business.

Paying a Living Wage
We have signed up to the Brighton & Hove Living Wage, which confirms our commitment to pay everyone who works, or who comes to work at Clarity, a realistic wage.
The Brighton & Hove Living Wage campaign aims to encourage local businesses to voluntarily pay all employees a decent hourly rate. Set independently, updated annually and calculated according to the real cost of living, the living wage is currently set higher than the statutory minimum wage.
Joining this campaign strengthens our ethos to pay our staff a fair wage that allows them to live rather than just survive.
Health and wellbeing
We care about the physical and mental health of our team and provide our staff with three personal training sessions per week and one yoga session. We love to get outdoors and keep fit together, and with our offices based on the picturesque South Downs we couldn't be better placed.
Ensuring we look after our minds as well as our bodies, we have also run meditation training for our staff, which helps to reduce stress, improve focus and clarity of mind, and strengthens immunity.
We are on a mission to be a good business that does good and we have committed to donating at least 1 per cent of our profits to charitable causes. We are delighted to involve our staff in this process, and our internal Clarity Cares charity donations committee allows them to help decide where the money goes. We also invite each member of our team to nominate charities that mean something to them. We also encourage and support our staff to take part in charity events.
We are passionate about rewarding hard work and success, and believe it is important for the team to share these efforts with their peers. Our annual staff awards ceremony is a fun and lively event held before Christmas and has fast become a highlight of the year for many.
We also use this event to recognise commitment to our business, with 5 and 10-year long service award presentations.
It's not all about work at Clarity. We also like to reward our staff by offering a range of social and team building events throughout the year, with past activities ranging from cookery classes to physical challenges.
