Are you not just duplicating what the Environment Agency does as the regulator?

All businesses have a responsibility to monitor and support their supply chains. Our assurance checks are complimenting and aligning with the work of the Environment Agency in its regulatory efforts rather than duplicating.

The EA has sent a clear message that it is stepping up enforcement of all businesses involved in the system and has also stated that it will move to cancel PRNs from companies that are non-compliant. This puts the whole supply chain at risk. We want to work with you to ensure that steps are being taken to reduce this risk.

The EA are working towards enhanced enforcements, but we are taking responsibility for moving towards transparency in our supply chain now. By working with our suppliers, we are preparing ourselves and your business for compliance monitoring from the regulator.
