The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) has published a summary document of responses received to the consultation on changes to the UK WEEE (waste electrical and electronic) regulations.
BIS has stated that the government’s response to the consultation will now be issued in September. We are committed to keeping our WEEE compliance members informed of any changes to the regulations, so once we receive this information, we will summarise what the changes will mean for producers and compliance schemes. If there are any issues that affect members directly, such as a material change, we will contact our members individually to discuss in more detail.
You can view the summary of responses here.
