WEEE waste management company, and Recycle with Clarity partner, Intelligent Waste Management (iWaste), is on the shortlist for ‘Small Business of the Year' at the South Coast Business Awards.
Recognised for its efficient, economic and eco-friendly services to businesses across the region, iWaste’s successful entry highlights growing awareness and recognition of compliant waste management and reporting. It is also recognition for the important role played by the waste management industry. The company are competing with three other shortlisted businesses from the region.
The awards aim to raise standards, encourage competition and recognise business excellence. The annual award, which is sponsored by Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, will be presented in Southampton on July 10th.
Sam Prentice, iWaste Company Director, is thrilled with the result - “Thanks to our AATF accreditation licensed by the Environment Agency and seamless customer service, iWaste is growing in prominence within the waste and recycling industry. We partner with the top compliance schemes in the UK, including Clarity. With the increasing number of high profile cases of non-compliance, businesses are being forced to take WEEE disposal seriously or face hefty fines and even prosecution."
He continued "We’re confident our business model, achievements and plans for the future will impress the judges, and look forward to finding out the result on the night.”
Vikkie Fitzgerald, Project Manager at Clarity, said “I’m thrilled to hear the team at iWaste have been selected as finalists at the South Coast Business Awards. It’s great to see our partners in the waste industry achieving recognition for themselves, and boosting prestige across the sector. The work they do is always of the highest quality, and they are recognised as an outstanding business by Clarity, whatever the final result in July.”
